City Out Reach

YWAM Czech Republic has been involved in all kinds of different outreaches!

Evangelism: YWAM has been involved with Evangelism on the main square (Wenceslas Square) and Old Town square in Prague. Wenceslas Square is visited by many tourist world wide throughout the whole year. We have seen a number of tourist and business people give their lives to Jesus over the years.

Night outreach: This is is another form of ministry YWAM has been involved in, reaching out in the red light district of Prague. Over the years Prague has become a major center for prostitution and human trafficking.

Homeless outreach: YWAM has been ministering to the homeless at the Main train station in Prague. The Hlavni nadrazi station is where most of the homeless gather. We usually go to the train station on special occasions or when visiting teams are in Prague. During the winter months we will pass out hats gloves and socks. We also serve hot food with a hot beverage. During the Summer months we pass out sandwiches and water. Many of the homeless are open to receive prayer.

Teen Challenge: YWAM has the opportunity to partner with Teen Challenge in their afterschool at risk kids program.

Ukraine Ministry

We have been involved with ministry in Ukraine for many years before the war started. Ministry In Ukraine has included: taking short term teams to do street evangelism, ministering in orphanages and to Gypsy (Roma) children, English camps and encouraging the local church. We have mentored pastors and leaders in Uzhgorod, Mukachevo, Lviv (Lvov), and have been involved with seminars teaching on Christian discipleship, marriage and family and how to do evangelism. Since the start of the war we have been to Ukraine four different times taking humanitarian aid and medical supplies. We are praying that the war and bloodshed would stop.
